On which surface can I use the Roundnet Set?

With this set you can roundnet Play both indoors and outdoors on all kinds of surfaces:

• On the meadow
• On the beach on sand
• On wooden floors
• On solid stone ground
• On the floor of the sports hall
• and much more.

However, you should make sure that the surface or net is as straight as possible on the ground.

Can I play Roundnet on the water?

Not with the round net game set, which you can buy here. However, there are now extensions available online that allow you to use the round net mini volleyball set for playing on the water.

Can I play Roundnet with my children?

Yes. With a little practice and skill, even children can be excellent Roundnet players.

Is it possible to buy the Roundnet playset in a brick-and-mortar store?

Keep your eyes peeled. The Roundnet game set is the new summer trend. Some stores, like the sports department at Real Madrid or similar, will likely also carry these mini volleyball sets. However, you'll have an easier time finding them online.

Can I also find the Roundnet Set at Decathlon?

Currently, we cannot find a Roundnet (mini volleyball) game set in Decathlon's online shop or in its brick-and-mortar stores.

Yes. You can find sets for the new cult sport of roundnet, also known as smash, at major online retailers like Amazon, eBay, Otto, or ApoNatura.

Setting up the Roundnet Set (also called Mini Volleyball Set) is quick and easy:

• Guide the individual frame elements into the designated loops of the net.
• Now you can insert 2 frame elements into 1 of the supplied feet.
• Repeat this until you have completely assembled the play equipment.
• Finally, you have to inflate the balls with the included pump.

The rules of Roundnet

Roundnet is technically played like volleyballThe aim is to hit the ball onto the net on the ground in such a way that the opposing player cannot get the ball afterwards.

We have briefly summarized the most important points for you here:

• 2 teams of 2 players each play against each other.
• At the beginning, team partners do not stand opposite each other, but next to each other.
• The playing area for each team is unlimited and extends 360 degrees around the trampoline. After serving and receiving, players may and must move freely.
• Any kind of ball contact is allowed (with any part of the body).
• Each team has a maximum of 3 touches of the ball per attack.
• At the end of the attack the ball must touch the net.

The teams or players may of course do not block or deliberately hinder each other.

You and your teammates decide who serves first. After that, the following applies: The team that has scored has the right to serve.

How do you count the points?

Points are awarded according to the Rally Point systemThis is the same system used in volleyball. To win, the leading team must be two points ahead of their opponent.

Points are awarded if:

• the ball touches the ground.
• the ball touches the frame of the net.
• the ball touches the net twice.
• the ball rolls over the net.
• the same player touches the ball twice in a row.
• the ball is played with both hands.
• the ball is played by a team more than 3 times per attack.

Typically, a round-net game goes to 15 or 21 points. However, you can freely determine the number beforehand.
